I am privileged to be a therapist who encourages those I serve to identify positivity and growth potential even in a difficult situation. I place emphasis on labeling and accepting a problem as it is and brainstorming alongside the client to determine the best strategies for long lasting mental wellness. I believe in partnering with clients on complete wellness while exploring how to attune balance.
I specialize in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and parents. I particularly value assisting clients in finding solutions for stress, depression, anxiety, identity, self esteem, attachment, relationships, and life transitions. Taking great consideration of all that life throws at kids and families, I also enjoy coaching parents on developing skills to best support their children.
My therapy experience includes supporting youth, adults, and parents in managing stressful transitions in life such as school and family issues and also acute psychiatric symptoms.
Therapeutically, I use a mixture of techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Structural Family Therapy (SFT). I practice on individual, family, and group therapy platforms.
