Sara Lowry, MSW
Meet Sara!
I believe in the importance of the therapist-client relationship. When interacting with others, it is essential that one feels accepted and understood. I offer a safe space for you to be yourself as you work toward self-acceptance, change, or understanding. I will meet you where you are regardless of your place in your life journey.
I have over 20 years of experience working with children, teens, and adults. I have worked in both individual and group settings in schools and in outpatient social skills coaching. I have masters’ degrees in special education and social work, and although degrees are necessary, the most valuable learning occurs from sharing and connecting with others. My specific areas of interest are substance abuse and prevention, social skills, and anxiety.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family. I am a wife and a mother to three children–two who walk the earth and one who lives in my heart. I also have three dogs, two cats, and a guinea pig.
I look forward to connecting with you.
